QC Document Controller

Calgary Manufacturing Facility

 

Objectives of the Position:

Responsible for supporting the Quality Department staff through general filing, administration tasks, maintenance of records and creation of QC Manuals, supporting supply chain with drawing request for manufactured equipment. 

Relationships

  Responsible to:

Quality Assurance Manager

 

  Internal Relationships:

All Tesco Management, Quality Department Personnel

  External Relationships:

Tesco Business Units & Vendors

 

 

Educational Qualifications

         High school graduate

         Software training would be considered an asset

Principal Tasks

         Maintain hardcopy & electronic records for the Quality Control functions; including data entry, filing, scanning, retrieval & photocopying.

         Data Entry of information into Quality Control Databases

         General Administration support as required by the Quality Department

         Preparation of QC Manuals for manufactured equipment and distributing to internal or external clients

         Filing of Quality Control documentation from international Business Units

         Management of Quality Control records from all Tesco Business Units

         Using engineering databases to access & print Engineered Drawings

Specific Expertise

         Three years administrative training or experience

         Intermediate Computer Skills

         Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Software & strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook

         CAD software experience would be considered an asset.

Competencies Required for Effective Performance

         Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail

         Ability to understand written work related documents, including engineered drawings and Bill of Materials.

         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, handling multiple projects of competing priority and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
